Centre of Wellbeing in Oldham prepares for information open day

A special Open Day and Community Consultation takes place at the Centre of Wellbeing, Training & Culture (CWTC) in Oldham on Tuesday, May 31.
CWTC is a registered charity organisation which supports disadvantaged local residents of Oldham.
Staff are continuing to meet a number of various organisations and individuals from various areas of Oldham and looking forward to a great partnership really working.
CWTC has recently moved into superb new facilities at the Centre of Wellbeing, Training and Culture, Medtia Chambers, 1st Floor, Barn Street in Oldham (OL1 1LP, near the Shimla Restaurant, behind the Police Station).
CWTC provide the following services for the disadvantaged and margilnalised communities locally, to hopefully improve their skills and wellbeing in Oldham:
Work placements for students and volunteers
A Wellbeing Cafe for arts and crafts, singing, information provided by health and social care services, training providers, etc
Provide accredited courses in: Understanding Dementia, Diabetes, Mental Health, Supporting Carers; Career Development & Employability, Digital Film Making, Audio Software
In-house Audio and Filimg Studios
Community Podcast
Community CWTV YouTube Channel
Organise Community Arts and Cultural Events
Support businesses to connect with the local communities
