Tommyfield Outdoor Market approved for use as new Eton-backed school

Outside Tommyfield Market in Oldham town centre.

The government has agreed in principle to a plan for Oldham’s historic market site to be turned into a new sixth form by elite boarding school Eton College and education trust Star Academies.
