M62 crash causes 90-minute delays as queues stretch towards Rochdale

Drivers are facing delays of around 90 minutes on the M62 this morning after a crash involving a car and a van. Two lanes are closed eastbound between junction 24 at Ainley Top and junction 25 at Brighouse, with queues reported back towards junction 21 near Rochdale. The collision happened on the eastbound carriageway on Monday morning, 21 September. National Highways said two of the three lanes were closed between junction 24 for Huddersfield and Halifax and junction 25 for Brighouse and Dewsbury. The crash involved a van and a car.
