Despite the weather, rain did not stop play for the launch of '50 Things To Do Before You're Five' in Stoneleigh Park.
50 Things To Do Before You’re Five gives you 50 activities that parents and carers can support their children to try out and repeat.
Each of the 50 Things have been carefully developed by education experts and early years practitioners and include activities for children with special education needs.
Attended by Oldham’s Mayor Cllr Jenny Harrison, the launch event was a great success and families had lots of fun with activities provided by Oldham Play Action Group, Oldham Library Service and Oldham Music Centre.
Oldham Council Early Years Team are putting on these events across various parks during Half Term. Their aim is to support parents and carers in finding enjoyable and stimulating activities to do withe their children at little or no cost.
The 50 Things app can be downloaded for Apple and Android devices so that people can have activities at their fingertips all year round.
