Save yourselves for SOS Comedy

'SOS Comedy' host Randolph Tempest
Hilarious new comedy show 'SOS Comedy', presented by actor, comedian and part-time Tesco worker 'Randolph Tempest', is coming to Jackson's Pit in Oldham.
An anarchic, surreal and variety-packed comedy show, 'SOS Comedy' is a two-hour extravaganza brimmed with a bizarre mix of characters, songs and even the odd game show, every one completely different from the last.
The show takes place on Thursday, August 16.
Randolph Tempest is the host of the show as he guides you through the high and lows of his career introducing the characters and 'celebrities' he’s met along the way.
The Bee Gees legend 'Barry Gibb', who Randolph met during a 1986 European tour after he was booked as support act, often pops up on the show, while other characters include Chorley’s number one mobile hairdresser and Prince tribute artist 'Rinse'.
During a lull in Randolph’s career in the late 80’s he joined a cult who believed the world was a dodecahedron.
He left shortly afterwards, but the cult's concert secretary 'Rod Shepherd' (pictured above) still lives next door to Randolph and is seen at SOS talking about other conspiracy theories.
They both deny the existence of Australia despite Randolph touring a rather badly received version of 'Death of a Salesmen' for six weeks on the Gold Coast with Steven Seagal (also on the show) in 1990.
Peter Slater is also joined on stage by comedians Jeff Downs (Funny Peculiar Podcast) and Boogaloo Fish, who together represent the plethora of characters you’re about to see - there's far too many to list.
Peter, Jeff and Fish have a combined stage experience of over 30 years and are currently performing the SOS Comedy show to regular audiences across the North-West and beyond.
The Frog and Bucket Manchester, 3MT Manchester, and Hermon’s Arts Chapel in Oswestry are just of the venues that have enjoyed this show.
