Warm-hearted Rotary Oldham Metro are readying themselves for their great Christmas giveaway.
They are starting, as last year, with giving away 1,000 Christmas selection boxes to local organisations and charities who help to support local families.
Our picture (above) shows 300 selection boxes being delivered to Mahdlo Youth Zone to help their Christmas appeal supporting 200 families and Christmas parties.
Garvin Crabtree, past president, is pictured delivering the selection boxes.
He said: "Metro have worked with Mahdlo since their inception.
"It is always a pleasure to support them where we can.
"Mahdlo are in touch with so many local children and families, and help on so many different fronts.
“Our members take them to different charity outlets and health centres with community officers, also clubs such as Mahdlo.”
