Graeme presents the Breakfast Show on Mom's Spaghetti
Legendary Hacienda DJ Graeme Park has launched Oldham’s newest radio station.
‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ came to life this morning as Graeme launched the Breakfast Show from 7am.
The station plays the biggest dance, r'n'b and hiphop hits from the 90s onwards, featuring the likes of Daft Punk, Usher, Eminem and Calvin Harris.
Presenters also promise a mix of 80s and 90s dance classics from the likes of Neneh Cherry, Happy Mondays, TLC, and Fatboy Slim.
The station is the brainchild of Matt Ramsbottom, former owner of Revolution 96.2 and owner of the Oldham Evening Chronicle.
“Moms is a labour of love, with some of the classic dance and hiphop tracks that take me back to my clubbing days, and I know the songs will resonate with anyone who partied in the 90s and 00s.
“We have big plans for the station to move beyond Manchester, to the NorthWest and beyond – but we’re proud to broadcast from our studios in Oldham.”
The station is currently available on DAB in Manchester, as well as online at momsspaghetti.co.uk
Later this year, Mom’s Spaghetti will launch across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside on a brand new digital DAB transmitter.
Your Amazon Echo will also play the station, just say “Alexa, play Mom’s Spaghetti Radio”
Former Revolution 96.2 presenters, Al Neild and Kev Bailey are also featured on the station on the morning and Home-Time shows.
“The station is always evolving” says station owner Matt Ramsbottom.
“We’ve ambitious plans for digital broadcasts, and we’re always working on music formats which have real meaning and memories for our audience.”
