Showcasing the wonderful work at the Royal Oldham

The Royal Oldham Hospital will open its doors to the public and members for a special open event on Wednesday, September 19, from 10am until 12 noon.
At the event, staff will be showcasing their work with the opportunity for people to share their views to help to continue to improve the experiences of those accessing the services provided at the hospital and Care Organisation.
There will also be the opportunity for visitors to take tours, as well as browse stalls and learn more about a variety of healthcare areas such as sepsis, stroke, maternity and cardiology as well as information on volunteering and careers.
Plus visitors will also be able to enjoy free refreshments.
There are open events at The Royal Oldham Hospital as well as other hospitals in the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group:
Fairfield General Hospital - Monday, September 17, 2pm-4pm, Education Centre, Rochdale Old Road, Bury, BL9 7TD
The Royal Oldham Hospital - Wednesday, September 19, 10am-12pm, Main Entrance
Rochdale Infirmary - Thursday, September 20, 2pm-4pm, Main Entrance
North Manchester General Hospital - Friday, September 28, 10am-12pm, Post-Graduate Education Centre
Salford Royal - Tuesday, October 2, 10am-12pm, Frank Rifkin Lecture Theatre, Mayo Building
The open events will culminate with the first ever Joint Annual Members and Public Meeting for the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group.
The meeting will take place on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 6pm in Humphrey Booth Lecture Theatre located in the Mayo Building at Salford Royal.
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group brings together over 17,500 staff and services across two Trusts; Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, to form one of the largest NHS organisations in the country.
The Northern Care Alliance serves a population of over one million people and operates five hospitals and community services; Salford Royal, The Royal Oldham, Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, Rochdale Infirmary, and North Manchester General Hospital.
With an operating budget of £1.3bn, the Alliance provides the benefits of scale but delivers this locally through multiple hospital sites and local healthcare services.
