PERFECTION: Ruby Holland celebrates her 100 per cent attendance.
A DEDICATED schoolgirl is celebrating after achieving a 100 per cent attendance record.
Ruby Holland (11), joined St Anne’s, Royton, in nursery and hasn’t missed a day of school. The keen swimmer and dancer was presented with a special award.
Ruby, from Royton, is set to start at Crompton House School in September and will be hoping to maintain her perfect record.
She said: “My mum has always tried to make sure that my sister and I attend school every day because we think education is very important and that every day matters. I’ve worked my hardest in school and did really well in my SATs. I plan to continue to work hard in high school to make sure I get the best results I possibly can.”
Deputy headteacher Lee Bennett said: “We’re extremely proud of her and her dedication.”
