Two men, a 19-year-old and another in his 40s, have been released on bail pending further investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley from GMP's Major Incident Team said: “We have been working tirelessly around the clock to identify those responsible, and I would like to reassure the community that this is believed to be a targeted attack with no wider risk to the public.
