The Oldham College building, formerly Grange School - to be demolished
Oldham Planning Committee
DEMOLITION of the former Grange School will start this summer ahead of construction of a new primary school.
Full planning permission has been granted for the creation of the £7.5 million primary school at the Rochdale Road site.
Last year Oldham Council agreed the present buildings will be demolished to make way for a new sponsored academy.
The new school, expected to open in September 2016, will be up to three storeys with space for 630 pupils.
