A management team returned to a side that they helped get promoted last season with their new club.
Mike Norton and David Birch returned to their previous club Abbey Hey with step four side Avro FC.
The management pairing of Norton and Birch took over from Alex Frost and Phil Edghill after work commitments stopped them from being able to continue managing the side.
And it was Avro who achieved the bragging rights as they ran out 3-0 winners over the hosts after a goalless first-half had it all tied up at the break.
The visitors then came back to slot three on the board before the final whistle sounded.
Avro will now host Curzon Ashton next Saturday, July 27, with the kick-off due at 3pm.
