Action from the Division Three clash between Santos and Saddleworth 3D
It was a day of four seasons in the Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur Football League - as the rain fell in the latter half of the games there was also a flood of goals.
Premier Divison leaders Moston Brook stay four points clear at the top with an efficient 5-2 win over Hattersley, and moving up to second spot and retaining their unbeaten record were new boys AFC Monton who won a thriller by the odd goal in seven against Sale Ams.
The other game in the division had Old Strets winning their first game by 3-1 at Chadderton Park to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
Santos are in the Division Three promotion mix as they won a local derby against Saddleworth 3D 8-1.
Santos were five up at the interval thanks to Reece Holden with four and Laine Corry.
Saddleworth pulled a goal back early in second half, but a hat trick by Ben Marshall sealed the victory for Santos.
Mellor reserves stay top of Division A, but they were taken all the way to wire before securing a breathless 5-4 win over AFC Oldham.
In Division B, Milnrow Firgrovia eased to a 7-2 win in their local derby at Oldham Saints.
In Division C, Stafford Argyle won 5-0 at Fitton Hill All Stars.
The other games produced wins for Irlam Steel Rangers by 2-0 hosting Saddleworth 3D reserves, Stoconians reserves by the same score at Village Manchester thirds and Richmond Rovers reserves by 4-1 at Signol Athletic reserves.
Meanwhile, Chadderton Cott beat hosts North Walkden in the Manchester Challenge Trophy, 6-5 on penalties after the match had ended 1-1.
