Isaan Gym hopeful Ethan Flight produced a superb victory at the Muay Thai Revolution show at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Southport.
Eighteen-year-old Ethan, from Derker, got back to winning ways after securing a unanimous decision against the superb Matty Ogden from Bury MMA.
Ethan produced a thunderous start, giving his opponent an eight count at the end of the first round.
The fight was back and forth, both kicking the body and scoring well with knees through the middle.
After five hard rounds, Ethan was declared the worthy winner.
Isaan Gym head coach Ste Donnelly said: "Ethan has done it the hard way.
"After losing his last few fights, he has been training extremely hard and lives the lifestyle and I’m so proud of him - you reap what you sew in this game.
"Ethan will be straight back in the gym preparing for his next fight on September 3 in Newcastle."
