Four local boxers from the Isaan Muaythai training gym in Oldham shone at the Barnsley Metrodome Supershow.
Twelve-year-old Jack Yates made his debut on Supershow against Charlie from the Phoenix gym.
This was a great well-matched fight.
Both boys produced some good kick exchanges, and both were blocking and returning.
Jack started pulling away in rounds four and five thanks to great work in the clinch, with the local lad getting the nod after five cracking rounds.
Ten-year-old Logan Crabb took on Frankie from Jai Su.
This was another superb match up - a real 50/50 contest.
After some great work in kicking exchanges, it was a really close fight but the judges couldn’t separate them after five rounds and called it a draw.
Fifteen-year-old Danny Ferris put on a knee master class against Alfie from OBS in Scotland.
It was a level first two rounds, but Danny started to pull away in rounds four and five courtesy of some wicked knee work to take the win.
Last up, Isaan had Luke Mattinson making his N class debut against Jimmy from Phoenix.
This was great match making for both lads,
Isaan Gym head coach Ste Donnelly said: "It's always a worry making the transition to head contact, but Luke looked superb and coped with Jimmy’s good southpaw style, with both taking some great shots.
"It was quite even going into the third round, but Luke started to pull away in rounds four and five to take the well-deserved win.
"This show was great preparation for the Sandee Open in four weeks time.
"I was extremely proud of all my boxers in Barnsley, and big thanks to Peter Spensley and his team for having us on his show."
