GOLF ROUND-UP: Oldham Gems enjoyed a Three Man Team Stableford and top of the shop with 43 were Chris Jones, Vic Brown and Mike Dunkerley.

Next in were Allan Frost, Martin Stimson and John Wood (41) and Brian and Phil Best and Keith Cowell (38).

A pro’s BB medal at Saddleworth needed a card play-off on 60 in Division One to see Ian Bennett and Ian Gregory home, from Gary Simpson and Kevin Bradbury.

In Division Two, Terry Hales and Steve Lowe led in with 57 one less than Harry Rushworth and Nick Edwards.

A BB Stableford at Saddleworth had James Mooney and Mike Norbury out on their own in Division One with 47, three clear of Stewart Muller and Nathan Mills.

John Heaton and Fiona Heston were also clear winners in Division Two with 50, three more than Alan Dorrington and Angela Gerrard.
