Out of the six schools competing that day, Hathershaw achieved outstanding success by securing the top position and winning the competition.

The MEGA Hub, which stands for Motivated, Educated Generation with Ambition, is an initiative designed to enhance Technology education across all secondary schools in the local community.

This all-day event provided students with a diverse range of activities and challenges aimed at fostering creativity and teamwork within the realm of technology.

Among the activities, students had the opportunity to develop a prototype and pitch an Artificial Intelligence solution addressing a future problem.

Additionally, they engaged in strategic teamwork that involved ideating and articulating how their concepts would enhance societal functions for future generations.

Participants faced authentic challenges in critical areas such as Cyber Security, Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Virtual Reality Gaming.

The students demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and dedication throughout the events, receiving praise for their outstanding conduct and efforts.

In an exciting initiative aimed at further nurturing students' interests, Hathershaw will be hosting an after-school Super Curricular Club during the summer term.

This programme will provide an immersive enrichment experience focused on Esports and Cybersecurity, catering to students eager to explore the fascinating world of gaming and technology.

Hathershaw continues to strive for excellence in fostering an engaging learning environment that prepares students for the challenges of tomorrow.
