Man stabbed in hand after brawl in Oldham town centre

A man has been stabbed in the hand following a fight in Oldham town centre on Friday night.
It's understood the incident happened on Fairbottom Street near Harry's Bar and Bees Knees.
The man was stabbed in the hand, and taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
Two men were arrested.
Footage from the scene shows revellers brawling in the road, and throwing crowd control barriers at the junction of Yorkshire Street.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called just before 11pm on 11 March 2022 to Fairbottom Street, Oldham to a report of a fight.
"During the fight one man was stabbed in the hand. He has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening nor changing
"Two men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and affray. They remain in custody for questioning. Enquiries are ongoing."
