All the upcoming Christmas lights switch-on events for Oldham.

Let there be light.
Here's a list of upcoming light switch-on events for areas around Oldham.
Events will range from late November to early December and cover the district centres.
Friday 26 November
Chadderton will have their lights switched on at 6pm, but will not be holding an event with the lights being turned on through a timer instead.
Royton will switch on their lights at the same time of 6pm, and will hold an event at Market Square. Music performers, choirs, community stalls and photo opportunities wil Santa will be featured.
Saturday 27 November
Shaw will hold an event at 5:30pm featuring entertainment featuring Christmas Markets, street performers and performance from Oldham Pipe Band. This will take place on Market Street.
Greenfield Village will also hold their event at 5:30pm. This will be the first year Greenfield Village has held an effort and will have food, drink and stalls on offer.
Dobcross Village will have their switch-on at 6pm but will not have an event, instead using a timer..
Sunday 28 November
Grotton will have a tree switch-on at 6:30pm
Thursday 2 December
Hollinwood and Oasis will be having a tree switch-on at 7:30pm.
Friday 3 December
Failsworth will be having their switch-on event at 7:00pm and will be hosting a Christmas Market featuring mascots, music, entertainment and a visit from Santa. This will take place at Failsworth Pole.
Springhead will also be holding a tree switch-on at 6:30pm.
Saturday 4 December.
Uppermill will be having its big Christmas lights switch-on, at 5:00pm, as well as live entertainment, a 2km/5km Santa fun run for adults and children, stage/stalls/choir on King George V playing fields and the annual Christmas procession featuring Santa.
Lees will also have a switch-on at 4:00pm.
Additionally Delph will have their switch-on at 5:30pm.
Sunday 5 December
Diggle Village and Wrens Nest will both be holding a lights switch-on event at 4:45pm.
Thursday 9 December
Lydgate will be turning on their Christmas tree lights at 6:15pm.
