Oldham Local Studies and Archives is reopening on Wednesday 28 April.
If you wish to visit, they will be open Wednesday to Friday, 10am–4pm.
Visitors will be required to book their visit and order their documents, including archives, books, pamphlets, and microfilms, in advance, with a limit of one visit per day per person.
Visitors only wishing to use the computers will also be required to book in advance.
Access will be provided to the search room, with other facilities remaining closed for the time being, including the public toilet.
To limit the potential spread of Coronavirus, usual search room services, such as book browsing, research advice, record copying, use of maps and photographs, and casual access to our computers are temporarily on hold.
