A cannabis farm has been discovered at a house in Dukinfield.
Officers from GMP's Tameside District Tasking Team and Challenger Unit executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address on Foundry Street on Thursday, March 4
The activity followed information received in relation to unusual activity taking place at the address.
Once inside the property, no occupants were present, but officers did find a small cannabis farm consisting of 40-plus plants, at various stages of growth, on the third floor of the property.
Enquiries are now ongoing to identify those responsible and continue the investigation in to this offence
GMP often rely on intelligence from the public, so officers would like to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone who may have any concerns or information about the distribution of drugs to report this to the police.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
