A large stone was thrown through a car window on Horsedge Street
Our picture (above) shows a scene close to Oldham town centre earlier today (Wednesday) after a large chunk of stone was allegedly thrown through a car's rear window.
The vehicle was spotted close to the roundabout outside the Mahdlo Youth Zone and the entrance to Blue Coat school this afternoon.
A local witness reported that the driver had been driving the car at the time of the shocking incident.
Police were called and taped off the area while they investigated.
It is still unclear whether or not the driver was injured.
