The incident has been confirmed by the pub in two posts on its Facebook page.
In the statements they said: “The Police now have the CCTV footage and are investigating, we are awaiting further instruction from them and they will contact individuals directly themselves, we are fully cooperating with the Police anyway we can, and we are reviewing our security policy.”
“Our thoughts are with anyone who got caught up in the incident last night, and hope that you are all ok!”
“We cannot and will not tolerate this kind of behaviour, and as a Member of the Oldham Pub Watch we will be notifying the Committee and requesting bans from all member venues in the area!”
