Police have released CCTV footage of three men they want to speak to in connection with a spate of thefts and attempted thefts from vans in Tameside.
Officers are investigating after a dozen vans were damaged and items stolen from them in a series of incidents across Tameside in May, 2018.
The majority of these incidents occurred in Stalybridge, but there were also vans targeted in Mossley and Ashton-Under-Lyne.
Detectives investigating these incidents are treating them as linked.
Police Constable Tony Lawton from GMP’s Tameside borough, said: “As part of our investigation, we have released this footage of three men we would like to speak to in connection with these incidents.
“I’d like to appeal to anyone who recognises these men to please get in touch with police.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who has information on the vehicle shown in the footage, believed to be a light-coloured Kia Sportage or similar, which has a distinctive horse emblem on the spare tyre cover.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 9350. Reports can also be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
