DELPH squeezed to a two-wicket victory in their Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership clash at Thongsbridge.
The hosts took first knock, with Delph restricting them to a below-par score of 135 for six. Arron Lilley took three wickets for 37.
In reply, Andrew Gleave's men laboured their way to victory at a cost of eight wickets. Mosun Hussain top-scored with 38.
BOOSTED
Delph were further boosted by news that runaway Premiership leaders Hoylandswaine were beaten by seven runs at Broad Oak, meaning the title race is still just about alive.
* NICK Hardman was the star for Woodhouses as they won by one wicket in a Greater Manchester League Division One thriller at Greenmount.
Chasing 144 to win, the Belfields outfit scraped home in what was an exciting finish.
Hardman scored 40 not out and took five for 39.
