AVRO Juniors under-13s produced a stunning late recovery to snatch a 4-3 success over Pumas in the East Manchester Junior League.
At 3-2 down with two minutes to go, the young guns were seemingly heading for defeat at The Lancaster Club.
But Avro drew level and then, thanks to Kane Hughes’ second goal of the game, grabbed a last-gasp win.
Jake Jackson and Jack Bostock got the other goals.

FAILSWORTH School are closing in on a prestigious final.
The Year Sevens visit Maghull High School in Liverpool tomorrow in the last 16 of the English Schools FA Cup.
Shaun Dean’s side booked their trip to Merseyside after a nail-biting defeat of local rivals Crompton House.
All square at 1-1 after extra time — Ben Kyte scored for Failsworth — they eventually got through 6-5 on penalties.
The road to round seven started with a 5-3 win over Hartford High School (Cheshire),
Wellington (Timperley) were beaten by the same scoreline, before they got the better of St Matthew (Manchester) 3-0.
They posted an impressive 6-2 win of Great Sankey, of Warrington, in round four, but were made to work hard for their 2-1 victory over Blessed Trinity (Burnley).
The final of the nationwide competition, which had a start list of 750 teams, will be held at a Football League ground.
Rochdale and Oldham Youth League
SPRINGHEAD under-13s maintained their lofty position at the top of the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League with a 1-0 win over Chaddy Rangers.
The only goal of the game came in the 23rd minute through leading marksman Kaimmen Morris.
CHADDY End FC under-12s, with Callum Buckley, Ryan Mason, Lewis Newton and Tom Maloney on the mark, held Park Bridge Celtic to a 4-4 draw.
SHAUN Middleton led the way with a hat-trick as Chadderton FC Juniors under-12s posted a comprehensive 7-1 win over Rochdale St Clements.
James Tulley, Reece Mellor, Liam Eadsforth and Matthew Goulding got the other goals.
County Cup
CHADDY End FC under-14s made smooth progress into the fourth round of the Manchester County Cup.
With Chris Batters (two), Danny Hawthorne (two), Matthew Crothers, Jake Green, Joe Burgoyne and Coby Tyrrell getting the goals, they put eight past West End Boys without reply.

North Bury Junior League
CHADDY Hoppers under-13s Red came from behind to beat Prestwich Heys 4-1 in the North Bury Junior League.
A great effort from Martin Kenny levelled things up before half-time and Blaine Biggs put them ahead soon after the restart.
Kenny added a third before Biggs sealed victory with number four.
The under-11s so nearly snatched a dramatic share of the spoils against Middleton Lads.
Trailing 4-0 at the break, Hoppers hit back through goals from Sam Morgan, Harry Gratton-Smith and Calum Perry, but they were unable to force an equaliser.
Under-12s Blue twice came from behind to draw 2-2 against Elton Sports — Dan Radcliffe and Zac Gemmil got the goals — but under-12s Red, who lost their ’keeper through injury just before kick-off — were beaten 2-0 by Marauders Tigers.

TOM Nutall got the consolation goal as Chaddy End FC under-11s went down 7-1 to Northside ‘B’ in the Manchester Youth League Cup.
Bowlee Sunday Youth League
FOUR goals from Tom Nutall helped Chaddy End FC under-11s to a 7-2 triumph over Soccer Dynamos in the Bowlee Sunday Youth League.
James Dwyer, with two, and Oliver Robinson made up the tally.

Tameside and District Junior League
3D DYNAMOS under-11s ‘M’ hit Hollingworth for 12 without reply in the Tameside and District League.
The midfield quartet of Ellis Forshaw, Aaron Rogers, Remi Morris and Luke Midgely pitched in two goals apiece, while there were other efforts from Tom Waring, Christian Leigh and Charlie Maslin. An own goal made up the tally.
3D’s other under-11s team felt aggrieved as they went down 5-4 at Denton Youth.
Goals from Tom Ireson, Tom McClusky, Sam Bagshaw and William Wilson looked to have yielded a share of the spoils, but the home side snatched the points with a controversial fifth — appeals for offside were waved away — deep into injury time.
The under-12s were beaten 10-1 by Moston Brook — Jack Brocklehurst scored the consolation goal — and the under-16s, who only had 10 men, went down to a goal midway through the second half against Moorside.
A FINE free-kick from Brandon Clifton was in vain as Oldham Junior Boys under-13s lost 3-1 to Glossop North End.
MATTHEW Walls led the way with four goals as Heyside JFC under-11s defeated Medlock Rangers 5-2. Callum Fletcher got the other.
Tameside Sunday League
OLDHAM Junior Boys under-14s are through to the next stage of the Tameside Sunday League Cup after a 3-1 defeat of Manchester Maccabi.
Scott Robinson, Liam Cullen (penalty) and James McDermott did the damage.
GOALS from Connor Watson and Kane Soneye were in vain as Failsworth West under-11s succumbed 4-2 against Marauders.
BEN Holmes, Corey Eastmund and Joshua Wheldrick were on the mark as Heyside Juniors under-13s overcame Barr Hill 3-0.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-11s suffered an 8-0 defeat at the hands of Brendon Bees.
THERE was double disappointment for Boundary Park Juniors in the League Cup.
The under-12s ‘A’ lost 4-0 to Moston Junior Reds and Joe Freeman scored the consolation goal as the under-15s went down 4-1 to Hyde Villa.
Huddersfield and District Junior League
THREE goals in as many minutes put 3D Dynamos under-15s on the road to a resounding 9-2 defeat of Collegians in the Huddersfield and District League.
3D, who were 6-1 in front at half-time, had Elliot Fielding (two), Alex Kelly (two), Andy Marsden (three), Matt Ralph and Adam Cunliffe on target in only their second home game of the season on the Woolpack.
A double from Alex Milovanovic and a Jason Norris effort clinched a 3-1 for under-12s ‘M’ against Shelf.
Dynamos on cloud nine
THREE goals in as many minutes put 3D Dynamos under-15s on the road to a resounding 9-2 defeat of Collegians in the Huddersfield and District League.

Scott’s four-goal show lifts Athletic
NICOLE SCOTT was the star of the show as Oldham Athletic Girls under-14s swept aside Uppermill Rockettes 5-0 in the Oldham Girls League.
The young sharp-shooter scored four times as her side, who only had six players, hit five second-half goals. Vicky Connor got the other.
However, the under-11s lost 3-1 to Uppermill Rockettes, and Keeley Scott scored the consolation goal for the under-13s, who went down 3-1 to Curzon Ashton.
HOT-SHOT Natalie Giblin grabbed four goals as Heyside Angels under-12s secured a 7-0 success over Curzon. Kinsa Hmami (two) and Katie O’Boyle made up the tally.
Under-11s Inter, thanks to a Tanisha Williams effort, edged out Uppermill Rockettes 1-0.
Gemma Jacobs, with a hat-trick, Lucy Nixon (two), Vicki Melia (two), Rachel McHugh (two) and Lois Jacobs found the net as Angels under-16s enjoyed a 10-0 triumph over Droylsden.
Under-14s Angels had Abbie Andrews, Abbie Heap, Jessica Cooke and Rheema Mears on the mark in a 4-2 defeat of Rochdale FC, while Leoni Harland and Danielle Partington shared six goals as Angels Inter under-13s overcame Denton Town 6-2.
Beth Mellor and Sarah Hardman scored for the under-13s Clarets in a 2-1 victory against Uppermill Rockettes.
Megan Ashton pulled a goal back for Rockettes, who were denied a draw by the excellent Heyside ’keeper.
o ROCS under-16s proved too strong for Heyside Clarets, with Sarah Ryan (two), Bethany Ormrod (two), Faye Hardicre and Amy Ginty getting the goals in a decisive 6-2 win. Lucy Shaylor and Blossom Halkyard replied.
The under-14s, with Megan Jackson and Lauren Steel each scoring four times, brushed aside Meltham Girls 19-1
Georgia Flynn and Amy Jones hit hat-tricks, while Shona Ninian (two), Anna Moorhouse, Danielle Pickett and Fern Madeley got the others.

Under-15s in victory tonic
THERE was relief in the Oldham Schools under-15s’ camp after they recorded their first win of the season in the Greater Manchester Schools’ League.
The teenagers, who have endured a tough time of late, defeated Bolton 3-1 at Shaples School.
Matthew O’Keefe put them ahead on the half-hour mark, with Scott Dawson, of Royton and Crompton, adding a second at the start of the second half.
Bolton pulled a goal back five minutes from time, but Oldham would not be denied and restored their two-goal advantage through Ethan
Hardman (Royton and Crompton) in the dying seconds.
The under-15s meet Bolton again this weekend, in the last eight of the Greater Manchester Schools’ County Cup at The Lancaster Club (kick-off 10.30am).
Meanwhile, Oldham under-14s remain on course for the schools’ title after a 2-0 win over Bolton.
They are unbeaten in the league and secured another three points thanks to a 35-yard strike from Grange’s Noor Uddin and Sam Rathbone (Failsworth) penalty.
