Talented Oldham girls shooting for the stars

HUGE SMILES ALL ROUND . . . Oldham's under-12s netball team were in terrific form in their county league final win against Rochdale
OLDHAM Netball Club enjoyed double success at the Greater Manchester Junior County League finals.
The under-12s team met Rochdale in their final, having beaten Bury in the semi-final stage.
The first quarter ended 13-6, with Hannah Diamond - in her first final as shooter - scoring nine of the goals and achieving 100-per-cent statistics.
Molly Stevenson was equally impressive at centre, feeding both shooters with accurate quick passing as well as securing nine interceptions throughout the game.
She was awarded player of the match.
QUARTER
Oldham increased their lead every quarter, ending the match 48-22 victors and county champions for the second successive year.

Oldham's under-13s saw off Bury 60 points to 32 in their semi-final contest.
That earned a final place against Chester, and they didn't disappoint, roaring to a 64-41 victory.
There were some amazing shooting stats from two players in particular.
Alex Martin fired in 49 from 49 attempts, while Berri Neil achieved the 100-per-cent mark, adding 15 points from 15 attempts.
Millie Marsden was the girl of the game.
The under-13s also won the county final for the second consecutive year, and have now qualified for the North-West regional league in 2016-17.
