Chadderton recover to take derby spoils

FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON under-13s defeated Heyside Juniors 4-2 in the Tameside and District Junior League Cup semi-final.
Callum Harris and Kieron Thomason gave Heyside a two-goal lead. Chadderton hit back through efforts from Jack Garside, Liam Hindley, James Larty and Luke Jones.
Chadderton under-12s Reds progressed to the League Cup final following a 6-1
triumph over 3D Dynamos.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-14s got the better of Medlcok Rangers 3-0, thanks to strikes from James Mellor and Lucas Foster-Jones, and an own goal.
The under-13s defeated Brendon Bees 4-3, after Joe Lineham found the target and Callum Viner added two, before Bees conceded an own goal.
CHADDERTON under-12s beat Dukinfield Youth 5-0 in the East Manchester Junior League.
On the mark were Lexi Jenkinson, Harry Cooper, Kyran Leigh and Jordan Richardson with two.
CURTIS Norris scored six times in AFC Oldham under-14s’ 11-3 win over Denton.
Jack Howarth bagged four goals, with Filip Uminski completing the rout.
SAM Darke-Williams and George Walsh were on the mark for 3D Dynamos under-11s in their 2-1 defeat of Delamare Rangers.
OLDHAM under-14s went down to a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Salford in the Greater Manchester Schools’ League.
Ben Hulme (Failsworth) scored two goals, while Aaron Holton (Radclyffe) grabbed the other.
The under-15s’ ESFA Inter-Association Trophy home clash with Leeds was postponed due to bad weather. The tie, now moved to Leeds, takes place on Saturday.
ROCS under-16s beat Moston Juniors 5-2 in the North Manchester Girls’ League after two apiece from Megan Jackson and Lauren Steel, and a Danielle Pickett effort.
The under-14s defeated Heyside Clarets 2-0, both scored by Leah Bickerstaffe.
HEYSIDE Angels Clarets under-15s saw off Uppermill 3-0 through a Taomi Hawksworth brace and a Sarah Hardman strike.
The Angels Blues won 4-0 against Chadderton Park courtesy of a Leoni Harland double and further goals from Danielle Partington and Lauren Patterson.
CHADDERTON Park under-12s Cobras defeated Northside 3-2 to book their place in the Tameside Sunday League Challenge Cup quarter-finals. On the mark were James Colins, Nathan Lees and Matt Cunningham.
CROMPTON Villa under-14s were beaten 4-3 at Moston Juniors. Jack Johnson and Hayden Clarke scored, and Moston conceded an own goal.
CHADDERTON under-13s saw off Dukinfield Tigers 6-1.
Ashley Hartley and James Larty notched two goals apiece, and were joined on the scoresheet by Ryan McConkie and Michael Gill.
ROCS under-16s earned a 3-1 win over Glossop North End. Scott Reeves, Sam Rigby and Collins Sinju scored.
TOM Scullion and Kane Hughes both bagged hat-tricks in Failsworth Town under-15s’ 7-3 victory over Delamere Rangers. Cole De’ath grabbed the other goal.
But the under-14s were defeated 7-1 by Mossley. Conner Landregan produced the consolation strike.
JOE Burgoyne and Liam Johnson were on target for Chaddy End under-16s, but they lost 4-2 to Moorside Rangers. The under-14s drew 1-1 with Manchester Macabbi, Oliver Cleworth netting.
Max Brand notched a goal for the under-12s, but they lost 3-1 to Heyside.
TRE Farrell scored a hat-trick in Heyside under-12s’ 5-1 defeat of Avro. Ronan Beckett and Jack Wallace also netted. But they lost 5-2 to Bury Amateurs, with Owain Jones and Callum Hendrick scoring the consolation goals.
