YEAR 7 pupils at North Chadderton School have been taking part in an extracurricular fencing club.


PARENTS who need support with issues such as toilet training, child behaviour, play and behaviour management can attend a drop-in session at Stanley Road Children’s Centre, from 1.30 to 3pm on March 14.


THE Friends of Mills Hill School is appealing for volunteers to help make sure its summer fair goes ahead this year. The group’s next meeting takes place at the school at 6.15pm on Tuesday, February 23.


THE new Busy Bodies physical play session for children aged up to five who are walking takes place at Chadderton Community Church, Garforth Street, from 1.30 to 2.45pm on Tuesdays. 50p per session.


PATCHWORK Parade, Russell Street, holds its fourth annual quilting and craft fair at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, on March 19. Tickets cost £3, £2.50 for guild members.


YEAR 7 pupils studying French at Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, held a Strictly Spelling competition. Bushra Farooq took first place followed by runner up Habiba Shumi and Adeel Hussain in third.
