ENJOY a cuppa and get new reading recommendations at the free chat and choose sessions at Chadderton Library, Burnley Street, from 2 to 4pm on Thursdays.

A STAFF coffee morning at The Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, in memory of former teacher Charlotte Haggerty raised £615 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
PATCHWORK Parade, Russell Street, is among the shops taking part in the national Sew Saturday event on Saturday. Demonstrations, giveaways, refreshments and a fabric sale are all on offer. Owner Phil Langford said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers old and new and hope our local stitchers will get involved.”
