STEP back in time to find out what life was like for young people in Chadderton in 1914 compared with today. An exhibition at Chadderton Town Hall, Middleton Road, is the culmination of the £40,800 Step Back in time project involving Chadderton District Youth Forum. It takes place from from 1 to 3pm on July 19.

PUPILS are appearing in the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical “Aladdin” at Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, from June 29 to July 2. Performances are at 7pm and tickets cost £4, £3 children and £10 family. More than 40 pupils will also appear in their annual end of term carnival on July 14.
