THE bowling section of Royton Cricket Club will be holding its annual general meeting at the club on Bransdale Avenue, Royton, on Thursday at 8pm.
All existing members are invited to attend along with any people wishing to make themselves members for 2016.

ROYTON Townswomen’s Guild will be hosting a talk by Anne Ashton entitled “The Devil’s Shoes Don’t Creak” at Royton Town Hall on January 12. The event is open from 7.30pm. Entrance costs £2 members, £3 visitors, including refreshments.
PLANNING permission has been requested for the removal of timber garages and the building of one four-bedroom house at land adjacent to 45 Turfland Avenue, Royton.
ANYONE looking to start running can join the new Royton Road Runners beginners’ group from tonight. Over 10 weeks, runners will be able to build up to a timed 5K run at Alexandra Park. Meet at 6pm for a 6.15pm start at Royton Cricket Club.
