LEARN more about dementia and how to help people live well with the disease at a free workshop tomorrow at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Turf Lane, from 12.30 to 4pm.
Organised by Home Instead Senior Care, it is open to anyone who supports a loved one with any form of dementia as well as any health and social care professionals or volunteers. To book a place, call 01457-874 566.
YOUNGSTERS can enjoy bedtime stories with storyteller Rogan Mills at Royton Library on October 5. Children can bring along their favourite cuddly toy to the event, which runs from 6 to 7pm.
ROYTON and Shaw Pub and Club Watch will host a meeting at The Pineapple Inn, Rochdale Road, Shaw, on Wednesday, from 10 to 11am.
