Party time

ITS Christmas party time for youngsters at Shaw and Crompton Children’s Centre, High Street, Shaw.

The Play Together, Learn Together team will celebrate on Tuesday (1.15-2.45pm), Baby Club on Wednesday (1.30-3pm), Stay and Play on Thursday (10-11.30am). Booking required on 0161- 770 5314/770 5308.


MEET Santa at Crompton Bowling Club Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday (1pm) at the club in Glebe Street, Shaw. Free for children to see Father Christmas and get a present and food. Hot beef and turkey sandwiches for adults. All welcome. Tel: 01706-847 789.


PARENTS of students at Crompton House School, Rochdale Road, Shaw should be aware that the last day of term is Friday December 18 at 12.25pm. The school reopens on Monday January 4 at 8.40am. There will also be a Christmas Concert in the school hall on Wednesday (16) at 7pm.
