Blues looking to bounce back

MANCHESTER City need to get their act together, starting tonight.
City are in Russia for a Champions League last-16 showdown with Dynamo Kiev which follows Premier League defeats at the hands of Leicester and Tottenham, and an FA Cup mauling against Chelsea on Sunday.
City rested star players and fielded an inexperienced, weaker side on Sunday with tonight’s big match in mind. Manager Manuel Pellegrini will be looking for his main men to justify the tactics that prompted so much criticism.
City are 13-10 to win in Kiev, with the hosts 5-2 and the draw 12-5. They are 100-30 ON to win the tie overall and reach the quarter-finals for the first time in the club’s history.
But the bookies reckon City have little chance of cutting any ice against the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, making them 16-1 to win the whole shebang.
City also have a big date at Wembley on Sunday when they contest the Capital One Cup final against Liverpool.
City are 4-6 to lift the trophy, with Liverpool 13-10. I have a strong belief that the Merseysiders will win this one and will be backing them at that price.
RECOMMENDATION: Liverpool to win Capital One Cup, 13-10 (general).
