MANCHESTER United striker Anthony Martial is desperate to continue Manchester United’s mini revival in the Barclays Premier League.

United will tomorrow go to a Sunderland side battling for survival, but confidence in the Reds camp should be high after a 3-0 demolition of Stoke.

With reports that a deal is in place for Van Gaal to be replaced by Jose Mourinho, United’s players will do well to keep their focus. But that won’t be a problem for £36 million signing Martial, who said: “From now on I hope that we can quickly get back into the top three. I am very determined to win something.

"The key thing is that it is all about winning, so I hope I can be lifting some trophies as soon as possible."

United are still in the FA Cup and Europa League knock-out stages, but anything other than a top-four

Premier League placing and the Champions League spot that goes with it will be deemed a disaster at Old Trafford.

On paper, tomorrow’s match at the Stadium of Light gives them a great chance of adding three points to their tally, but Sunderland are showing great resolve and fighting spirit at present and will be a handful at home.

EXECUTIVE vice-chairman Ed Woodward believes Manchester United could sell some of their unwanted players to China this summer.

Woodward isn’t fazed by the prospect of losing personnel to the Chinese Super League, where Alex Teixeira, Ramires and and Jackson Martinez have moved recently.

Woodward said: "It (CSL) is a useful market if we are looking to sell players."
