Newly-promoted Lancashire kick off with Notts test

THE 2016 season fixtures have Lancashire starting their County Championship campaign back in Division One against Nottinghamshire on April 17.
Lancashire’s Roses matches against Yorkshire is on May 29-Jun 1 at Headingley, with the return fixture at Old Trafford on August 13.
Lancashire Lightning begin their defence of the NatWest T20 Blast title with a home tie against Derbyshire Falcons on May 21, while the Roses match against Yorkshire Vikings takes place on June 3.
Cricket Director and Head Coach Ashley Giles said: “The announcement of next summer’s fixtures always makes you feel that little bit closer to the season. It’s particularly exciting this year with us being back in Division One and taking on some of the best teams in the country.”
