Baggies test first for Pellegrini

MANCHESTER City get their bid to reclaim the Premier League title underway with a tricky-looking trip to Tony Pulis’s West Brom on the opening day of the new season.
The Blues, who finished runners-up to Chelsea this year, face Jose Mourinho’s men in their second fixture at the Etihad Stadium in what is sure to be a titanic tussle.
Chelsea will probably have Radamel Falcao in their squad as the 29-year-old Uruguayan was today set to sign for the champions on a season-long loan from Monaco.
Falcao, who joined Monaco for £50m in 2013, spent last term on loan at Manchester United, but was considered an Old Trafford flop after scoring only four times for the Reds.
United, back in the Champions League this season, get their Premier League campaign started with a tasty home clash against Tottenham. They follow that with a trip to FA Cup finalists Aston Villa.
