Mayweather for points success

IT’S been billed as the fight to eclipse all others; two masters of their craft finally getting into the ring together after careers of steering clear of each other.
Las Vegas hosts the welterweight showdown between the unbeaten Floyd Mayweather jnr and the warrior that is Manny Pacquiao.
No less than four world belts will be on the line and a packed audience will be paying a minimum of £1,000 each to watch it live.
The MGM Grand in Vegas will be coughing up millions to stage the fight, but even that will be a drop in the ocean compared to the enormous amounts the fight will generate via television audiences all around the world.
So who wins? Will it be the super-skilled Mayweather, the man who always does just enough to retain his flawless record, or will it be the fighter who is idolised in the Phillipines and is already being groomed for political stardom?
I am pretty confident Mayweather will, as usual, get the job done. But he won’t take risks so back him to prevail on points at best odds of 8-11.
RECOMMENDATION: Floyd Mayweather to beat Manny Pacquiao on points, 8-11 (Boylesports, Ladbrokes);
