Aaron Davies: Performed well in England under-18 tournament.
POCKET dynamo Aaron Davies showed his elders a thing or two in the recent England under-18 pool tournament in Kent.
The 11-year-old, a pupil at Our Lady’s, Royton, reached the quarter-finals despite being the youngest player in the competition.
Aaron, who lives in Royton and also plays snooker, is a regular for the Greater Manchester youth pool team and is expected to climb the ladder in both sports as he gains experience.
He is a member of Royton-based Ebbro Snooker Academy and is coached by Barry Broadbent who says he is a great prospect.
Aaron competes in the English Amateur Snooker and Billiards under-19 junior snooker tour and his highest break is 65 in competition and 96 in practice.
