Another two points are dropped by City

OVERALL the Manchester City players will have felt a little disappointed after not securing Premier League victory at Arsenal.

In many ways Arsenal had been there for the taking, but City just couldn't finish them off.

They got themselves off to a great start with that early goal from Leroy Sane, but City didn't build on that platform and Arsenal soon grabbed some good, impressive momentum themselves.

DESERVED

They really hit back at City and will feel that they deserved a point.

If City had won on Sunday and then beat Chelsea tomorrow night, then that bit of belief would have returned.

However, those hopes of another Premier League title win have diminished somewhat again now.

The six points dropped in their last three games could ultimately prove far too costly.

City have still got the FA Cup to fight for of course, while the main priority as far as I'm concerned is that City secure a Premier League top-three place.

It's vital that they secure a Champions League place again, and I think they will.

I had a really busy day representing City in a 'challenge' day against some United legends.

It was all being filmed for a piece for the City website.

I was in a City team - alongside Richard Dunne, Andy Morrison, Trevor Sinclair, Paul Dickov and Nicky Weaver - which took on United.

TERRIFIC
We did the Crossbar Challenge, a Free-Kick Challenge, and played five-a-side down at Platt Lane.

It was a terrific day. We had some great banter with the United team, which included David May and Clayton Blackmore, and Chadderton boxer Anthony Crolla.

I can't wait to see the finished video.
