City look set to seal the deal in Monaco

WHAT a huge run of games is in front of Manchester City.
Firstly it's the Champions League trip to Monaco tomorrow night, of course, and to be honest I fancy City to go through chiefly because I can't see them not scoring on the night.
A score of 5-3 from the first leg could be a bit of tricky one, but certainly if City were to score first, then Monaco would have a huge mountain to climb.
There is plenty of pace and penetration in the Monaco team as we saw in the first leg at the Etihad, but by the same reckoning they do look liable to concede and I think City will get at least one goal over there.
It's going to be a great night for any City fans who are going over.
Monaco really is a beautiful place, as I found out last week when I went over to meet Richard Dunne there, and he helped us put a preview video together for the club website.
It is exclusive and one place I saw was charging 55 Euros for a glass of Rose, but there are much more reasonable places to eat and drink so the City fans that go will love it.
After the European trip it's back to the fight to try to catch Chelsea in the Premier League.
The home goalless draw against Stoke last week didn't help the cause, but victories in the next three games, against Liverpool this weekend, Arsenal and Chelsea, could see Pep Guardiola's men right back in the race.
I think after these next three games everyone will have a much clearer idea of whether Chelsea can be caught. It's a massive spell for City.
The team is certainly playing well again at the moment.
There's great ability and belief in there again, and some of the play is just phenomenal.
At Middlesbrough on Saturday it was a big FA Cup quarter-final, but it looked like City were on a training exercise at times.
The confidence in the team was flowing, and in the end City were just different class.
They need to maintain that level of performance right until the end of the season now.
