Jesus looks an exciting City prospect

THAT was the best I've seen Manchester City play all season during the match against Tottenham, but they just couldn't get the victory.
City battered Spurs on the day and to be honest I thought they created enough chances to have won four games.
Unfortunately these missed chances are becoming a bit of a recurring theme, but the team did play exceptionally well, certainly miles better than they had done at Everton the week before.
CHALLENGE
Anything can still happen at the top of the Premier League table, but City will have to keep winning and winning if they are to mount a challenge to Chelsea.
The more Chelsea keep grinding out results - like they did against Hull on Sunday - the more ominous it looks for the chasing pack.
There's already quite a gap at the top in Chelsea's favour, but City have still got to go there and a win in that match would help.
I was delighted with the impact made by young Gabriel Jesus against Spurs.
He could quite easily have made himself a City legend just minutes into his debut!
He flung over a terrific cross, saw a great 'goal' disallowed, then had another chance a bit later on.
He may only be 19, and he may not be used to the cut and thrust of the English Premier League, but he showed some great touches and he is undoubtedly a very exciting prospect.
LEARNING
Of course he's got plenty of learning to do as he gets up to speed in his new environment, but even for the short time he was on the pitch against Spurs, he looked sharp and energetic.
I can't wait to see him in action again.
Maybe that will be in the FA Cup game at Palace this weekend.
I've no idea whether Pep Guardiola will make any changes or not, but he'll still have a very strong side out because Palace are a tough team to beat, especially down at Selhurst Park.
