Roberts could be a star of the future

I WAS quite impressed with Celtic's performance against Manchester City in the Champions League.
It was good to see a glimpse of the future in young Patrick Roberts too.
He played really well for Celtic and scored a great goal, but don't forget he's on loan there from City, so maybe we'll get to see more of him at the Etihad Stadium from next season onwards.
He's quick and he's got skills, but then again he's only one of a number of terrific young players on City's books at the moment.
It was good to see a number of younger players getting a chance in City's team too, though at the end of the game I thought Ilkay Gundogan and Fernando were particularly impressive.
The Celtic game followed the major disappointment of the weekend defeat to Chelsea.
Of course, much of the talk has been about the red cards at the end, but by that time - and maybe even by half-time - City ought to have been out of sight.
They created enough chances to have won four games, but too many went begging and the team got caught napping in the second half.
I have to hand credit to Willian and Diego Costa, though.
Those two were quite superb and took their goals so well.
It needs to be about bouncing back at Leicester this coming weekend now.
Looking at their current form in the Premier League, it would appear to be a good time to be playing them.
FREAK
Maybe last season was a freak one for them as they won the title. Who knows?
This season it appears that Leicester have put most of their focus onto the Champions League campaign.
They've been brilliant in Europe, but for some reason it's not really happened on the domestic front and they're only a couple of points above the relegation zone.
