DANCE stars . . . the three teams from Jaymar Dance Centre who achieved competition success
SMOOTH movers at an Oldham dance school are celebrating after quick-stepping their way to success in a major competition.
Members of Jaymar Dance Centre, Rock Street, proved their talent in the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) North-West qualifier at the Wythenshawe Forum.
Three teams, ranging from six to 16-year-olds, achieved success. Crazy Criminals came second in the Under-14s section; Razzle Dazzle were first in the Under-9s category; and Passion came first in the Under-18s section.
The youngsters have won the competition two years in a row. Dance teacher Rebecca Jarvis said: “We’re over the moon.”
