LOOKING the part . . . Chris Connor as Elvis
ELVIS fans will be all shook up when Royton lad Chris Connor takes to the stage at the Manchester Apollo.
Chris (30), of Sandringham Way, beat 29 other hopefuls to be crowned European champion at the Images of the King contest in April.
The talented impersonator bagged a trip to Elvis’s homeland as part of his prize and will be taking part in the world final in Memphis before he jets home for the Apollo gig on August 29.
Earlier this year Chris appeared on the BBC show “Lets Dance for Comic Relief” and is currently awaiting the award for Best Las Vegas Elvis. His “Elvis Through the Decades” show has been a massive success with sell-out audiences.
