WHO says technology is only for youngsters?
Oldham Library was full of budding technophiles at a Smart Ageing event, mainly aimed at the older generation, carers and those people who may find it difficult to get out and about.
On the day they were able to find out how to use technology to help them engage with people and the things they love to do.
Visitors had a chance to chat about gadgets and gizmos, with experts on hand throughout the event to answer questions.
Andy Powell from Hack Oldham shared his experiences on a TV gadget that he is developing, which will allow people to do interesting things with technology without leaving their living rooms.
People were able to settle down and watch a film during the Virtual Gogglebox sessions, after which they could chat over the airwaves to a volunteer who was watching it from elsewhere.
