FLASHBACK . . . rubber ducks are released at last year's event
OLDHAMERS are preparing to go quackers for the annual Dr Kershaw's Duck Race and Fun Day at the weekend.
Taking place at Chadderton Hall Park on Saturday, the much-loved event will see thousands of rubber ducks released into the River Irk and race along to win their owner an amazing prize.
The day, which runs from 10.30am to 3pm, will also feature attractions, stalls, entertainment and inflatables for all the family to enjoy.
Arron Cheshire, Dr Kershaw's community fundraiser, said: "We're extremely excited to welcome the annual Dr Kershaw's Duck Race back to Chadderton Hall Park once again this year.
"It's a fantastic event that sees thousands of visitors over the course of the day and has now become a much-loved and successful family event for the hospice."
