FLABOUYANT Oldham-born entertainer Christopher Biggins said he was "very sorry and very sad" as he was booted out the reality TV show Big Brother for saying that Aids was "a bisexual disease".

The television and pantomime star was told that it was his third use of "unacceptable language".

The 67-year-old had been tipped to win the Channel 5 show before he was kicked out for making comments said to be "capable of causing great offence".

Blamed

His first reprimand came when he made comments alluding to the Holocaust

In a separate conversation, he then said: "I think the worst type is the bisexuals, what it is is people not wanting to admit they are gay."

Then on Friday while taking to about Aids, he said that homosexuals had been blamed for the rise of the "killer disease" but he thought it "was a bisexual disease, if I'm honest".

Another contestant claimed she had been told by an unnamed former CIA agent that "they gave it (Aids) to kill off third world countries".

Biggins agreed, stating he thought it was "man-made" and then added: "There were a lot of bisexuals who went to those countries and had sex with those people and brought it back to their own families in America and that's how it became a worldwide disease."

He was told by the show that it was his third use of "unacceptable language", which left them with "no choice" but to remove him.

Biggins, who had previously won the TV reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, later said: "I'm very sorry and I'm very sad."

A statement on his website says: "Unfortunately, Biggins is no longer in the Celebrity Big Brother House. Show your support on Twitter using #CBBBiggins #Biggins @OneBiggins."
