A 15-YEAR-OLD schoolgirl who sent a letter to the Prime Minister expressing her concerns with the growing terrorism threat has received a letter from Number 10.

Robyn Taylor, a prefect at Saddleworth School, says she felt compelled to send a personal 600-word message to the Prime Minister because of her fears about Isis and terrorists plotting to bomb other innocent people and countries.

And in a series of searching questions at David Cameron she asked: "Why is Britain so weak when dealing with terrorism or any other crime? Do you think there will be World War Three?

"What can we do to stop this if it is more likely to happen than not? We all must be prepared, civilians as well as the soldiers fighting for our country."

Robyn, one of four children, said in her letter: "We should stop procrastinating over what we are actually going to do about this situation.

"In my personal opinion I believe we should be much stricter on who we allow to enter Britain as they are in many other places.

"We don't know who the people entering are and/or what they are capable of, what they are planning to do in Britain.

"I know first hand of young adults aged 19, after receiving one-week of training, to have a job checking travellers' luggage at the check in.

"I don't think this is enough training or the right age to be doing something so important as deciding whether someone poses a threat to security in the country."

Her letter continues: "Our country needs to be stricter and quickly. We need to be ten steps in front of the enemy at all times because they have no sympathy, they don't care about life.

"They think it's okay to kill other innocent people because of their religion or colour of their skin. This is absolutely disgusting in my opinion as no undisturbed human in their right mind would ever do anything like being a terrorist and killing innocent people."

She concludes by asking the PM to respond personally, adding: "As a young conservative I'd like your personal opinion, as one day I hope myself to be in Number 10."

A response from Number 10's direct communication unit, says: "The prime minister truly believes our security services are the best in the world.

"Over the last 18 months alone they have foiled no fewer than seven different terrorist plots right here in Britain. We should all be extremely grateful for the work they have done on keeping us safe.

"The government will do everything to ensure our agencies have the resources and the information they need to protect this country, so there will be additional investment in our world class intelligence agencies.

"This will include over 1,900 additional security and intelligence staff, as well as more money to increase out network of counter-terrorism experts in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

"We have also done more to make sure the powers we give our security services keep pace with changes in technology.

"The government has published a draft bill that will ensure GCHQ, MI5 and our counter-terrorism police continue to have the powers to keep track of terrorists online.

"They do this by intercepting their online communications and obtaining data from computers used by terrorists.

"I hope this reassures you that the government will keep doing all it can to keep the people in the UK safe."

Robyn added: "I was pleased with the Prime Minister's response."

Her father Julian Taylor said: "Robyn has some very direct views and I'm pleased the government has responded."
