Course leader is 'proud' of fundraising students

TRAVEL and Tourism students at Oldham Sixth Form College put their studies to good use by raising £672 for Dr Kershaw's Hospice in Royton
They organised several fundraising activities as part of their coursework, which included a trip to Alton Towers, a soak the teacher event and guess the names of the teddy bear.
The students have already received their results for their two-year BTEC course - chalking up top Distinction* grades across the board.
Course leader Karen Bates said: "They all did really well with the fundraising.
"I am really proud of them and they have got fantastic results as well."
